It’s official. The contract is signed, and we’re locked in.

No backing out now — not without lawyers involved. The house is ours, or will be, assuming everything holds together (including the roof, but even then, it’s my problem now).

Now I’m focused on some quick damage prevention, sealing up open pathways to the home to keep out the elements (and anything else trying to sneak in).
